Chris had only one job on his “honey-do list” for his wedding with Kendra this December:

-Find a Photographer

Kendra figured this would be the best task for him since he is himself, a photographer.  Chris says he didn’t have to look far.  We studied photography together at GVSU and try to get together on a regular basis for “photo adventures”.  We meet up at some interesting location and then inspire each other with our different styles.  I love macro.  Getting up close and personal with insects, flowers, peeling paint and other things is totally my thing.  I also love making portraits of people.  On the other hand, Chris looks at the big picture.  He wakes up early in the morning and makes these really beautiful HDR landscapes and posts them on a site called Panoramio where his breathtaking photos are linked to the site they were taken at on a world map.

It turned out that Chris and Kendra’s engagement session was basically another photo adventure.  We drove out to Fallasburg Park, one of my favorite locations in West Michigan.  It hosts beautiful scenery, an enclosed shelter that I have attended many weddings at, a gorgeous river that’s totally swim-able and one of the best disc golf courses I’ve ever played.  Kendra is adorable and totally silly (I LOVE her!) and it was great to see how happy she makes Chris.  We bounced ideas off of each other and between the two of them being so darn cute and the beautiful scenery, we came up with some great images to commemorate their commitment to one another.

Congratulations you two!  I am SO looking forward to the wedding!
